Why?
This happened because last weekend I wrote a status update on my Facebook that said " who can see the sun??"
My friends Ariel in LA and Geri Grace who was holidaying Aspen, responded by posting photos of where they were at that moment.
And so I decided to make this project.
At 8am New Zealand time (because I live here) on Saturday the 8th of August 2009, I have asked people from all over the world to take a picture of the sun. If for no other reason but to demonstrate that in spite of vast miles between us, we can all look at the sun at the same time, and strangely feel closer.
